Yeşilova Public Service Building

Küçükçekmece, İstanbul / Küçükçekmece Municipality / 2.000 m² / 2014

It is aimed that the structure and landscape are complementary to each other when the building is placed on the land, it is considered as a whole with the landscape and the design decisions are taken. Outdoors, green areas, playground for children, recreation and meeting areas are used in the most efficient way. For this, the hard floor soft floor ratio is spread to the ground in a balanced way. The functional functions of these different tissue formations on the landscape are in interaction with each other.
The public structure on a human scale has easy-to-understand plans, even though it is dynamic as a mass. Basement and ground floor are in health service. There are basement floor office rooms, laboratories and vaccination chambers and technical volumes. On the ground floor there are waiting areas, office rooms, and emergency service units. It operates in 1st floor mukhtar service. This floor is planned for cashier and waiting area, office and meeting room for the residents of the neighborhood.
The mobility in the landscape has also been maintained on the facade, the hard floor in the landscape – the soft floor-related facade transparency – reflected as opacity. Thus, the movement on the facade was continued with the windows forming different angles.
Raw metal coating is used both on the front and on the roof, ensuring material continuity both horizontally and vertically.
