ORHAN AKYÜREK
Graduated from İTÜ in 1957. Worked in Ministry of Public Works until 1986 when he started to work with Aytöre Genç Architecture in Ankara.
He received total of 16 awards in competitions, 6 first prize. Served as jury members in several competitions. His most important works are Turkish President’s office building, Presidential public relations building, national library in Ankara, Tayyare cinema restoration in Bursa.
With his architect daughter, they worked together in architectural projects and artistic activities.
He focused on painting, sculpture and jewelery design.
