ME House

Florya, İstanbul / 965 m² / Completed 2018

It is a house project with a 20×13.5 session on the land purchased by the landlord in Flory to make a single villa. An entrance courtyard with 4 cars on the street side is positioned to leave a maximum area to the garden and pool on the south side. On the west side, the two neighboring buildings, which are very close to the parcel border, look deeper than the masses, while the main areas are directed to the south garden and to the eastern green area.

The volume of the house is twice the height of life. The room, reserved from the garden by a complex glass wall, is separated from the dining room by a two-sided fireplace and the cactus garden, ornamental pool and living room. These three rooms create a very rich living space with different levels of ceiling heights and visual connections to each other. The penthouse has a spacious living room with fireplace, kitchen, sports room and guest rooms. Large fringes are a touch of Turkish house typology and an aesthetic touch to Istanbul’s both rain and sunny climate.The ornamental pools designed as part of the swimming pool enter the small courtyard in the middle of the living area.
