The park covers an area of 33.000 hectares on the southern tip of the Gallipoli Peninsula, which separates Anatolia from the Dardanelles. The Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park, which is of great historical and strategic importance, is aimed to gain a peace character.
1915 The Park was built to protect the cultural, natural and artistic heritage of the Park and to present the world peace, love and tolerance in a totality of thoughts and feelings, including the intense occurrences of the Gallipoli and Gallipoli battalions of 1915. The integrity of Park’s natural structure has been preserved, physical interventions have been kept at a minimum and creative initiatives have been explored while maintaining integrity.
Landscape, land structure, marine design tools have been used instead of producing new buildings, new atmosphere has been created and new exhibition places have been created and people have been offered peaceful thinking, sensation and experience opportunities.
